Manual Installation of SQL Server Standard
1) Download the installer to the local pc. The installer may enquire to Smart Salesperson for the downloading.
2) Click to continue.
3) Click Setup.exe
4) Select Installation
5) Click on the New SQL Server Stand-Alone Installation or Add Feature to an Existing Installation
6) Click NEXT to continue as the product key is auto fill in
7) Tick to accept the license terms
8) Next to proceed
9) Next to proceed
**Note
If there's any error appear, please do go through the sentences and if require assistant, please do call to helpdesk.
10) Click Unselect All
** Note
The other selection is not necessary and can reduce resources of the CPU and RAM process
11) Tick Database Engine Services only.
12 Next to proceed to next setting
13) Key in SMART as Named Instance and press TAB then click NEXT
14) Proceed to the NEXT
15) Select Mixed Mode
16) Fill in the password as smart
**Note
The password was preset for all smart product to connect.
However, you may change accordingly if your pc's require complex password and Smart product needed to change accordingly.
17) Click Add Current User
**Note
Computer login username cannot same as computer name else, unable to proceed.
18) Next to proceed
19) Click INSTALL as this screen provide the information for the installation
20) CLOSE to exit the successful installation.
Install Management Studio Tools - use for scripting and data troubleshooting
21) Back to the installation center, click Install SQL Server Management Tools
22) Click Free Download For SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 18.11.1 in the browser
23) Save to your pc
24) Click to Run
25) Click Install to proceed
26) Installation done
27) Click X to exit.
28) Restart the pc.
29) Click Windows Start, look for Management Studio and open to ensure that it able to connect successfully.
