Smart Portal 26.2.0 (Released 20th October 2026)
- [New products] Smart E-Menu and i-Mall are managed beside POS2Go SaaS.
- [New products] Each product has its own logo and colour.
- [New products] The sidebar lists Tenants, Licenses and Scheduled Tasks once each, with every product under them and its tenant count, so a new product adds a line instead of a group.
- [New products] E-Menu and i-Mall tenants are created without a separate database.
- [Licenses] Terminals, kiosks, kitchen and order displays, E-Menu outlets and i-Mall malls are each shown with their own end date.
- [Licenses] KDS expeditor seats are read from the license as their own line, apart from kitchen displays (KDS).
- [Licenses] Add-on licenses are listed under their own product.
- [Licenses] A serial belongs to one tenant per product.
- [Licenses] A deleted tenant's licenses go with it.
- [License activation] Create Tenant activates the license itself in one step.
- [License activation] A refused license shows the reason and leaves no half-made tenant.
- [License activation] A license that must be activated again is flagged and has seven days.
- [License activation] Testing licenses are available for all three products, with ten of each seat.
- [License reminders] Owner and dealer are emailed 30 days and 7 days before a license ends, and on the day.
- [License reminders] The over-limit reminder's recipients are chosen on the tenant's page.
- [Tenants] "Login as" sits beside View in the list and opens the tenant's own address.
- [Tenants] List filters are kept when you come back.
- [Tenants] Each API credential has its own box saying what it is for.
- [Tenants] The Login as / Open admin button uses the portal's own colour, with a border in the tenant list.
- [Tenants] Deleting a tenant returns you to the list you deleted it from.
- [Products] Minimum terminal app version can be set per product.
- [Products] A product can no longer be deleted or have its hosting mode changed.
- [Reports & dashboard] The dashboard shows every product side by side: one tile per product with its tenants, licenses and storage (and, for super admins, whether it is online), and the alerts grouped by product.
- [Reports & dashboard] Reports compares the products side by side, with one coloured line per product.
- [Reports & dashboard] "Inactive 30+ days" now means no sale (POS2Go SaaS), no order (E-Menu) or no sync (i-Mall).
- [Reports & dashboard] The inactive count is the same on the report, the dashboard and the tenant filter.
- [Email templates] Reset Password, Password Changed, License Reminder and Terminals Stopped are editable templates.
- [Email templates] The list shows only templates that send.
- [Email templates] Product mail goes out under the From Name in Mail settings.
- [Scheduled tasks & backups] The portal runs E-Menu's and i-Mall's routine jobs.
- [Scheduled tasks & backups] The portal runs POS2Go SaaS's sales push to i-Mall.
- [Scheduled tasks & backups] Auto backup covers the portal, E-Menu, i-Mall and every POS2Go SaaS workspace with one switch, time and days kept.
- [Scheduled tasks & backups] Backup times show in the portal's timezone.
- [Scheduled tasks & backups] "Keep backups for" also applies while Auto backup is off: a nightly task removes older backups of the portal, E-Menu, i-Mall and every POS2Go SaaS workspace, and the newest backup of each is always kept.
- [Smart Storage Platform] Every backup is copied to Smart Storage Platform straight after it is taken: the portal's, Smart E-Menu's, i-Mall's and each POS2Go SaaS workspace's, each in its own folder.
- [Smart Storage Platform] Cloud copies are kept for the same number of days as the backups on the server.
- [Smart Storage Platform] A backup's cloud copy can be downloaded from the Backup tab.
- [Smart Storage Platform] A Cloud copies list shows what is stored in Smart Storage Platform, by folder.
- [Smart Storage Platform] The connection (address and token) is set on General Settings, Company, with a Test connection button.
- [Smart Storage Platform] A failed copy never affects the backup on the server, and the reason is shown.
- [Smart Storage Platform] The Backup tab updates by itself while a copy is on its way, without a page refresh.
- [Smart Storage Platform] A cloud copy downloads under its own file name.
- [Smart Storage Platform] A backup deleted while it is still being copied has its cloud copy removed as well.
- [Settings] The License Server section on the Company tab is named Smart License Platform.
- [Admin accounts & dealers] A dealer account sees all of its dealer's tenants.
- [Admin accounts & dealers] A dealer account may open Reports.
- [Admin accounts & dealers] Support accounts sign in to a shop with their portal password.
- [Admin accounts & dealers] A fresh install no longer has a well-known support password.
- Improved messages to say what happened and why.
- Changed alerts to sit under the page title.
- Fixed the provisioning dialog calling a running job stalled or repeating its result.
- Fixed chart tooltips naming a product more than once.
- Fixed background jobs that failed not being recorded in the failed jobs list.
- Changed the built-in logo and browser icon to Smart Portal's own.
- Fixed saving General Settings with Auto backup off resetting its time to 00:00 and its days kept to 7.
